placing an order

Can I shop online at Roobedo ?

Yes. Shopping online at roobedo is easy and safe. There are four steps to follow:

Step 1: Browse the Roobedo collection
Browse through the Roobedo collection which has been organised by garment fabric type.

Step 2: Add it to your shopping bag
When you find an item you like click on the 'add to shopping bag' button. At anytime you can view the contents of your shopping bag by clicking the small shopping bag at the top left of the screen. (Delivery charges are not displayed until you go to checkout.)

Step 3: The virtual fitting room
Before adding an item to your shopping bag you can pick your fabric, size and finish preferences for the item you have selected. Use the fabric swatches to select your fabric and colour, and the drop down lists to select your size. Sizing details can be found by clicking 'sizing info.' Or have your clothes made-to-measure and finished to your exact requirements, for a truly personal touch.

Step 4: Payment
When you have finished shopping simply click on the pay button. You will be transferred to our secure server, then be asked to enter your payment and address details to confirm your order. Delivery charges will be shown. Clicking on the complete purchase button will send the order to Roobedo for processing. Roobedo will send you an email confirming that we have received your order.

What is the Roobedo made-to-measure service ?

Roobedo clothes are hand made to order. For a truly personalised service you may request that your clothes are finished to your individual instructions, for example specifying inside leg measurements, skirt length, waist etc. When placing the order simply specify 'made-to-measure' when selecting your size. You will be prompted with a form to complete, with measuring instructions supplied. Read these carefully and remember to measure accurately and honestly. Your made-to-measure instructions will be sent along with your order to Roobedo for completion. This service is charged at a minimum of £10, and appears in your shopping bag listed as extras.

Are there other ways to place an order with Roobedo ?

If you don’t want to use a credit card online you may use any of the following methods :

By email. Send email to orders@roobedo.com, quoting your order details, your name, address, credit card number and expiration date. (Note we do not recommend sending your credit card details by email it is safer to use our secure server)

By post. Print and complete the mail order form available online. Remember to enclose payment or credit card details. Post to Roobedo at Southview, 3 Baledmund Road, Moulin. Pitlochry. PH16 5EL.

By telephone. You can telephone 0781 470 4256 (m 0781 470 4256) Monday to Saturday 12am - 6pm. (GMT. All calls charged at standard rate)

What types of payment does Roobedo accept ?

You can pay by VISA card, Mastercard, Switch, Cheques, Postal Orders, or Cash. PLEASE NOTE that Roobedo is only able to accept postal orders denominated in Pounds Sterling or cheques denominated in Pounds Sterling and drawn on a UK bank.

What is the cost of delivery ?

Within the UK there is a standard delivery charge of £7.00 per order. For overseas orders the standard charge is £14.00, this may vary depending on destination and weight. We are happy to discuss overseas orders with you, for more information please email

How long will it take for my order to arrive ?

Roobedo clothes are hand made to order and your order will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of payment.

Is shopping online at Roobedo safe ?

Roobedo will take the utmost care to ensure shopping online is as safe as possible. Your browser will go into secure mode as soon as you proceed to pay for your order. (Before you enter any personal or credit card details)

Being in 'secure mode' means that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet, so your card details and personal data cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet. No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed. Our secure server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address.

The SSL encryption used by Roobedo is supplied by Equifax Secure Server Certificates. These are X.509 Certificates with SSL Extensions that chain to the Thawte CA and which facilitate secure electronic commerce by providing limited authentication of a Subscriber's server and permitting SSL encrypted transactions between a Relying Party's browser and the Subscriber's server.

How can your browser help protect you and your data ?

Most modern web browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Netscape, support 'secure mode' and standard security protocols.

You can tell that the pages are secure because the address in the Address bar changes from being http:// to https://.
You will also see a padlock symbol (IE) or key (Netscape) in the bottom bar of your browser.

Internet Explorer can warn you if the site you are about to send payment details to, is secure or insecure. To make this happen, select OPTIONS on the VIEW menu and then click the SECURITY tab. Once all of the warning boxes have been ticked, Internet Explorer will automatically alert you each time you send your private details to another site.

If you use a Netscape browser, you should select SECURITY PREFERENCES from the OPTIONS menu and then click on the GENERAL tab. Tick all of the Security Alert boxes and again, you will be warned when you are sending details to secure and insecure sites.

Can I return goods bought online ?

Yes, if you are in any way unhappy with your goods, you may send them back with a cover letter for an exchange or refund to : Roobedo at Southview, 3 Baledmund Road, Moulin. Pitlochry. PH16 5EL.As a consumer, once unwanted goods are received, you have a 7 working day cancellation period, this starts the day after receipt of unwanted goods. Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged items (statutory rights not affected). We cannot refund or exchange garments that have been hemmed / finished if you have specified the wrong length or decide you do not like them. Please note Roobedo is not responsible for return postage. We recommend that you obtain a proof of posting certificate and adequate insurance.

How long do I have to return sale items?

You are entitled to cancel your order for a full refund at any stage up to and including 7 working days after you have received your order. After this time, good bought in the sale will not be refunded simply because you change your mind or you do not like them. However you may return goods in exchange for a credit voucher to the same value as the item purchased.

I need help with my choice of fabric ?

Please call and Roobedo will be more than happy to discuss your choice of fabric. We want you to be 100% happy with your order. (please refer to contact details)

While we take all possible care to reproduce and describe the fabrics accurately, current printing and graphics technology limitations may mean that an exact representation of the fabrics offered is not possible. Likewise the nature of fabric source and its hand weave and knit quality means slight variations between batches.

All fabrics are produced in the UK, and all garments are made in Scotland. Roobedo clothes are handmade to order.
